~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
It is mounted with finely finished ormolu (gilded bronze) that is in excellent condition. The clock is formed as a four pillar portico with the movement mounted in a drum with the ormolu sunburst pendulum swinging gently below. To the top is a marble urn.
The dial is porcelain enamel on copper with delicate floral swags between the numbers. It is complete with it's original finely fretted gilt hands and convex glass.
The French movement is of high quality and is by Fritz Marti. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been overhauled and tested by our clockmaker. Ormolu pendulum is a original and depicts a sun goddess surrounded by rays. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Condition of the case is excellent, the original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration. The marble is very good with a good polish, slight nibbles to the edges. The dial is excellent with no damage.
