Antique Lacquered Chinoiserie Leather Top Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

A stunning antique desk in lacquered chinoiserie, made in England & dating from around the 1920-30’s period.

It is beautifully made, with stunning imagery and a beautiful patina. There is a gold tooled inset leather top, and this is a very useful size. This has a serpentine shape and sits on cabriole legs, there are lovely original brass handles.

We have had this recently re-polished, it is in excellent condition for it age, with plenty of character remaining.
