Description

Mid 19th.c. rosewood centre table c.1860 reduced in height to make a large and handsome coffee table to suit a period interior. Oval top with well figured rosewood veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern on solid mahogany groundwork. Deep moulded edge and a slim crossbanded apron below. On a tapering pedestal with carved collar, raised on beautifully carved and shaped legs in solid rosewood with scrolling feet. Excellent condition and lovely mellow colour. Cleaned and polished in our workshops.
