Description

A good early 18th Century oak chest on stand possibly Welsh and in original condition, having an unusual drawer configuration consisting of 3 short over 2 wider above 3 long graduated and cockbeaded drawers and all retaining their original shaped brass handles and escutcheons. The base section having a centre drawer flanked by 2 deeper drawers above the unusual shaped and pierced apron, the whole raised on cabriole legs with pad feet. All the oak linings and backboards are original and in good useable condition. Dimensions:- Height…61.75’’/157cm. Width…43.5’’/ 110.5cm. Depth…21’’/ 53.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £85.
