Antique Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers

An attractive antique Georgian mahogany chest of drawers. The straight front chest has decorative cross banded inlaid to the top. There is an arrangement of two short over three long graduating drawers, each with brass handles and escutcheons. The Georgian mahogany chest is raised on bracket feet.

Height – 91cm / Width – 90cm / Depth – 54cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including some age related marks to the top surface and drawer fronts (pictured). There are some minor losses to the veneer in places and some patch repairs to the drawer surrounds and to the top back left corner (Pictured). The chest of drawers remains structurally stable and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall a rather neat example. There is a key present that operates some but not all the locks.

Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!
