Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the 1890s.
A charming small Sutherland table.
This is a marvellous example of an Edwardian drop leaf Sutherland solid Mahogany table believed to be made around C1890 featuring a lovely deep rich Mahogany colour with its original french polished finish with patina.

This table has a very small form yet is quite versatile from having 2 drop-down leaves making it an ideal occasional, hall, side or sofa table. This table features Satinwood Boxwood and Ebony inlays to the top and turned supports finishing to shaped feet. This rare and petite table is all original, solid with no joint movement. The tops have their original lovely highly polished french polished finish are flat and not twisted. There is an area on the top where damage has been repaired in the past however is it not very noticeable and is shown in the pictures.

Please note; Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character. We have left it untouched and as it came in from the previous owner apart from just cleaning and waxing this item.
