A beautiful antique chair. We date this chair to the late 19th century.

The chair sits on carved X framed legs with a strong stretcher in the middle.

The backrest has been decoratively carved at the top front of the backrest.

The chair has been upholstered with beautiful red leather with a studded outline.

The chair has an overall height of 39.5" (100cm), an overall width of 20" (50cm), an overall depth of 20" (50cm), a backrest height of 20" (50cm), a seat height of 20.5" (52cm), a seat width of 18.5” (47cm) and a seat depth of 15.5" (39cm).

This lovely chair remains in very good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage, including a few very light indentations to some of the edges and two scratch marks to the back.

There are some minor marks around the feet from past use.

This remains a very stylish and elegant chair. It is very comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
