Dutch Marquetry Bedside Cabinet Circa 1790

Description

Fine quality Dutch late 18th. century marquetry on figured mahogany bedside cabinet raised on square tapering legs. Unusually has half tambour opening to front and a further tambour opening to the right side. (see image 4). Fitted with oak lined drawer below, Finished to back. Superb floral and geometric marquetry to top. legs and drawer front. All in superb original condition with just a couple of minor veneer repairs. Great rich colour with fine waxed patina. A very fine example of its kind.

Size; 28" high, 22.5" wide, 14.5" deep.
