The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 20,543,593 dates it back to 1916.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model from the Birmingham watch case maker Aaron Dennison. Dennisons supplied most of the cases for Waltham UK. The case has little “dings” across the front and back.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is a glass lens which is in good condition.
The signed dial looks good to the naked eye. If viewed through a magnifying loupe, there is a short hairline between 9 and 10 but it is very faint. Original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
