A stunning 19th. Century carved oak Gothic hall bench or seat. The back having 4 arched panels with knights in armour bearing cross swords and painted highlights. Flanked by stiles with arches and capped with Gothic spires, the open armrests fronted by carved figures and the seat lifts to reveal a useful storage area. The front having a very good carved panel of a King on his throne holding court and again with painted highlights. This stunning oak hall seat is in excellent original condition.
