Description

A fine quality, late 19th Century, French Renaissance style Rouge marble, Onyx, gilded ormolu and champleve enamel pedestal long case clock. The wonderful coloured enamel drapes to the top, the surround to the white enamel clock face. Having an eight day duration movement that strikes on the hour and half hour. Having a pair of classical gilded ormolu mounted columns with further enamel motif decoration. The ormolu pendulum has a Sun burst bob, and the whole being raised on a Rouge marble plinth.
