Edwardian 0.85 Carat Old Cut Diamond Crossover Ring, Circa 1910

Description

A sublime example of an antique diamond crossover ring. The bright and lively old mine cut diamonds are each secured in eight claw coronet collets, and sit either side of a sweeping crossover band. Eight (four each side) rose cut diamond are set in the platinum shoulders, conforming to a slim 18k yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30309697).

Cut – Old mine cuts (rose cut diamonds in the shoulders).

Colour – H and J (the rose cuts are G to H).

Clarity – VS2 and SI1 (the rose cuts are VS2 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye).

Carat – Each of the main diamond weight over 0.40 carat (approximately 0.85 carat total).

Circa – 1910.

Measurements – Each diamond is approximately 5 x 5mm. The ring sits 5mm from the finger.

Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Metal – 18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested.
