The centre stone is secured in an eight-claw coronet setting and is flanked on either side by a pair of high white 0.30 carat (approx.) old cut diamond (also set in platinum), leading to a slim and tapering 18k yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by a ruby report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the ruby shows no evidence of heat treatment, and originates from Thailand.
Cut – Oval cut ruby with old European cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are H to I.

Clarity – The ruby is clean to the naked eye. The diamonds are SI1
Carat – The ruby is 1.33 carat. Each diamond is approximately 0.30 carat.
Circa – 1920.
Size –P 1/2 (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The ruby is 7.7 x 6.3mm. From the edge of one outer diamond to the other is 16.1mm. Sits 4.5mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped PLAT 18CT – indicating platinum and 18k yellow gold – and tests as such.
