Antique 19th Century Pine Trunk

A well-proportioned antique 19th century pine trunk or blanket box. The pine trunk has hinged lid that opens to reveal a spacious interior with a candle box to the left-hand side with a small drawer below. The pine trunk has iron carry handles to either side and exposed dove tail joints to the corners. Raised on a plinth base.

Height – 41cm / Width – 100cm / Depth – 45cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good, rustic antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, staining, and scratching to the top and front (pictured). There is evidence of old historic wood worm in places – this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The pine trunk remains structurally solid and sound. Some minor losses to the edge of lid. Overall, a neatly proportioned antique pine trunk.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
