Pair of Rare Early 19th Century 'Sheffield Plated' Coasters

Description

This fine pair of coasters is made of French 'Sheffield Plate' and both have rubbed makers marks to the centres. Dating to the early 19th Century, the edging is very elegantly made in the 'wirework' fashion. With gorgeous plated bases.

There is some copper bleed to the edges and slight misalignment to a couple of the spokes. Overall a wonderful looking duo.
