A delightful Japanese bronze okimono elephant. It has it’s trunk raised and tail swinging, with great detail sculptured into the skin and good patina.

My mother, brought up in India, believed any figure of an elephant should be trunk up pointing to the front door to keep you safe and bring good fortune!
