Description

An extremely rare Georgian silver patch box.

A wonderful box with a glass lid under which is a miniature of a lady with a bird and a cage. The underside of the glass top has painted decoration.

The base of the box is decorated with rayed bright cut around an eye shaped cartouche.

The sides of the box are also decorated with bright cut.

A fabulous survivor.

Condition is just wonderful with a very slight unevenness to the base.

Dates between 1790 and 1800.

Would make a great addition to a collection.
