Large Victorian Carved Rosewood Settee

Description

A handsome and impressive mid Victorian settee of generous proportions. Made from solid rosewood timber and decorated with deep carved detailing to the arms and legs. The timber has developed a rich patina and colour and the frame is strong and sturdy. The settee has a lovely sweeping shape to it and is large enough to easily seat three people. The deep button back pink upholstery is in very good serviceable condition. The whole thing stands on its original Victorian brass and ceramic castors.
