The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The chain measures 31cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
Each of the links has the lion silver mark, and one link has the Herbert Bushell mark, as does the clasp, together with the date letter for 1909.

Also included is an unusual silver and 9ct rose gold fob. Usually we see fobs with a rose gold wash but we have never seen one with an actual hallmarked gold front. The back of the fob has a 1936 inscription from when it was awarded to J H Bennett from RHGC, Final Medal. RHGC is believed to be from the prestigious Rochford Hundred Golf Club in South End on Sea.
Total weight of the chain and fob is 54g.
