Description

A classic antique rose gold curb chain bracelet secured with a heart-shaped padlock and a fine safety chain for additional security.

The padlock is stamped M&N 15C and there is at least one worn "15" on the links.

It's rare to find these padlock bracelets in 15-carat gold, they're almost always nine carat. Fifteen-carat gold pieces are not overly common generally (in the UK only really used between 1854 and 1932) and as this fineness was mostly used in high quality pieces, it is attractive to collectors.

The bracelet is in very good antique/vintage condition, with light surface wear appropriate for its age. The padlock opens easily when the end is depressed and snaps shut securely with a click.
