The replaced hand dyed leather writing surface with blind and gold tooling set within satinwood cross banding. The centre having a wide drawer flanked by 3 bow fronted and graduated drawers all with fine marquetry inlay and original brass drop handles. The desk is raised on 8 square tapering and inlaid legs with spade feet. This large fine inlaid desk is attributed to Edwards & Roberts of London it has very good pen work and top quality mahogany linings throughout.
