Description

An attractive large antique metal bound trunk in a distressed green painted finish. The hinged lid opens to reveal a spacious interior with a candle box to either side and a small central drawer that pulls out from the back. There are heavy iron carry handles to either side. Raised on a shaped plinth base. Probably of Indian origin.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including some minor losses to the edge of the top, and wear and chipping to the green paint finish (pictured). The metal bound trunk remains structurally solid and sound.
