Description

A very pretty antique gold ring with a halo of eight old rose-cut diamonds surrounding a cabochon sapphire in a lovely French navy colour.

The hand-cut diamonds are beautifully twinkly and set into silver, as was the norm from Georgian and Victorian times to better complement the colour of the diamonds. The shank is solid nine-carat yellow gold with an elegant entwined split-shoulder design.

In very good antique condition.

Size O and a half (UK), 7.5 (US). The face of the ring measures 1 x 1.2cm and it sits approx 4mm above the finger.

Weight: 2.9g.
