A stylish Modernist brooch in solid silver and pearly white enamel by the high-quality Norwegian jewellery company J Tostrup - founded by Jacob Tostrup (1806-1890), a renowned jeweller who worked for the Russian Imperial Court and went on to be Norway’s Royal Court Jeweller.

Marked STERLING JTOSTRUP NORWAY.

In excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the enamel, just a little tarnish on the back of the brooch. The hinge and clasp are in good working order.
