An Exquisite Georgian Silver & Tortoiseshell Purse

Description

An exquisite small silver mounted purse dating from the Georgian period. This lovely piece has a silver frame with bright cut decoration. The front and back panel are blonde tortoiseshell and the body of the purse is leather. The purse opens to reveal the original fabric interior, with two compartments. Please not that this piece is 200 years old and will not accommodate today's credit cards. Dimensions below.
