Description

Antique 1917 Waltham Traveler pocket watch.

The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The gilded movement has a Breguet hairspring for enhanced precision and the plate is fully signed and has the serial number, 21,790,587, dates it back to 1917. The movement is protected by an inner cover which has a little scratching where it has been opened in the past.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model by the Dennison Watch Case Company. Dennisons supplied most of the cases for Waltham UK. The case is in lovely condition with just light surface marks, nothing serious at all.

The watch glass has small marks, again very acceptable.

The signed dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
