George III Pair of Mahogany and Leather Side Chairs

Description

George III pair of mahogany and leather side chairs; of unusual design with original burgundy leather seats; the moulded curved backs having three vertical pierced splats above the shaped padded seat with serpentine fronts and retaining their original leather upholstery and brass studs having a lovely patina. Raised on square legs with a slender moulded edge united by 'H' stretchers having unusual mouldings.

English circa 1780
