Antique 18th Century Period Country Oak Dresser C1780

Antique 18th CenturyPeriod Country Oak Dresser and dating from around 1780. Constructed from quality oak it has a moulded cornice to the top above a deep canopy frieze above three graduating shelves with receded fronts. The base has a plank top with rounded edge above three drawers all of which are pine lined with brass handles and ivoreen escutcheons. To the centre is the original open compartment flanked on either side by a shaped panelled door with brass handles and ivoreen escutcheons. It is moulded to the base and raised on bracket feet. The top separates for ease of transporting.

MEASURES: 80” HIGH X 36” HIGH TO TOPMOF BASE X 19.5” DEEP X 58.5” WIDE

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
