Antique Carved Oak Desk

An antique carved oak desk dated 1646. The carved oak desk has a three-quarter gallery rail raised on turned upright supports. There is a hinged slope front which opens to reveal a spacious interior with three fitted drawers. The slope has the date ‘1646’ and the initials ‘F & H’ carved into the top. The base has further carved decoration along with two square and turned upright supports. To the right-hand side is a small side cupboard with a single fitted shelf – this runs the whole width of the desk. An unusual piece of antique furniture.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks to the surface top and to the base in places. The antique carved oak desk remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, an intriguing piece of antique furniture.

In case of return, items must be received back in the same condition as delivered and a collection fee of £85 will apply, this would be deducted from any refund amount.
