Art Deco Solid Silver Tray.

Description

This very fine Art Deco solid silver tray which is made by English silversmith Charles S Green & Co Ltd is a very nice high quality antique piece being a good heavy weight.

This heavy tray is also a nice large size, has a stylish stepped triangle Art Deco design with 2 side handles and is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1936.

A stunning piece that looks wonderful on display and a useful item of silverware.

Material: Solid silver.

Maker: Charles S Green & Co Ltd.

Date: 1936.

Hallmarks: Fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham, date letter M for 1936 and maker's mark for Charles S Green & Co Ltd.

Dimensions: 47 cm (18 1/2") Long. 29 cm (11 1/2") Wide.

Weight: 1316 g.

Condition: Excellent used antique / vintage condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Some light surface scratches and marks. No damage, breaks or splits. Good clear hallmarks. Please see pictures.
