Description

A French gilded cased striking and repeating carriage clock. A larger case with the original gilded case finish. Fretwork panels to the case with rounded columns ends and top finials. A superb silvered engraved foliage dial with raised circular chapter ring and blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the hours and 1/2 hours on a gong. Push button repeating at the top. A lever escapement. Circa 1900.
