18th Century Antique Oak Bombe Chest

A neatly proportioned 18th century antique oak bombe chest of drawers. The oak bombe chest has a decorative shaped top which sits above an arrangement of four long drawers, each with Georgian design brass handles and escutcheons. The oak bombe chest is raised on four bracket feet.

DIMENSIONS:

Height – 83.5cm / Width – 84cm / Depth – 53cm

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and staining to the top (pictured). There are also some shrinkage splits to the top (also visible in the photos). The chest remains structurally solid and sound with the drawers running well. There are some honest, historic repairs in places. Overall, a rather lovely 18th century antique oak bombe chest of drawers of neat proportions.
