Large Mahogany Chest of Drawers C.1860

19th century
Description

Large mid 19th.c. mahogany chest of drawers c.1860. Featuring two short and three long drawers of graduated height, mahogany veneered fronts with cockbeaded edges and the original turned and carved mahogany knobs. The top with a deep moulded edge and projecting rounded front corners over a fine pair of Gillows style turned and reeded columns. Continuing to the floor as tapering feet which are repeated at the rear. Superiour quality with solid mahogany sides to the chest and oak sides to the drawers. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
