A Rare Pair of Elegant Silver & Tortoiseshell Candlesticks

Description

A rare pair of silver candlesticks dating from the reign of George V. These unusual examples are of three quarter height and are of elegant design. The bases are set with a band of tortoiseshell and the stems are squared and tapering, in the Art Deco taste. The sconces have reeded rims, finishing an eye catching and delightful pair of sticks. These wonderful examples are as practical as they are decorative. Dimensions below.
