French Marquetry Games Table

1900 - 1920
Description

A very unique and attractive French games table. Of Bouillotte shape and form it consists of a round inlaid table on four tapering legs with ormolu mounts. The top is reversible with a top for chess, and another which consists of an intricate marquetry revolutionary scene in an assortment of hardwood veneers. The interior has a backgammon board, again in parquetry inlay. All lovely quality and excellent condition.
