Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1960s.

It has a calibre 14.162 manual winding movement.
It fits a maximum wrist size of 16cms but this can easily be reduced by any competent jeweller.
The dial is absolutely perfect and the actual case is large measuring 23mm in diameter excluding the winding crown making it the ideal watch for a lady who prefers a larger watch.

The movement has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under high magnification for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.

The watch movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. the cases are polished and the watch sealed, in the case of waterproof watches a full waterproof pressure test is carried out to manufacturers specification.

Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many many years.
