A stunning black lacquer ground Chinese cabinet. The 4 panelled doors having raised carved wood with superb gilded lacquer decoration including cranes, flowering trees and water lilies. The stiles and door frames having further gilding with brass handles. The top doors open to a shelved interior with a smaller cupboard below. The sides have conforming raised carved and gilded decoration and the whole raised on short legs joined with a shaped frieze. This superb Chinoiserie Cabinet would make an ideal drinks cabinet.
