Description

An absolutely stunning antique Victorian walnut breakfast table of the highest order. This was made in England, it dates from the 1860-1880 period.

This is one of the finest quality examples we have ever come across, the design of the base is absolutely spectacular. There is profuse and beautifully executed carving all over the base & legs. Each leg is carved completely differently with carvings of different fruits. The top has wonderful burr walnut veneer patterns, and even the platform underneath the flip top has burr walnut veneers.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. This has a lovely patina, with various small old marks here and there under the polish, commensurate for age. The top unbolts and detaches for ease of transport.
