Edwardian mahogany inlaid cylinder bureau

This Edwardian mahogany inlaid cylinder bureau was made circa 1900.

The Edwardian period is known as the age of elegance and this Edwardian mahogany inlaid cylinder bureau really fits that description.

The desk with its curved fall front that opens to reveal the interior drawers, pigeonholes, and the inset writing surface.

Above the fall are a row of drawers and below the fall is the kneehole with a box drawer each side of the central drawer.

The Edwardian desk stands on elegant, tapered legs that end on the original brass box castors.

This desk has satinwood banding and boxwood stringing, that is all around it. It allows you if required to stand this superb desk away from a wall or even put it in a bay window.
