This fine quality silver plated wine / Champagne cooler which dates from the mid 20th century is by renowned silversmith Mappin & Webb and the base is marked with the maker's mark.

This stylish cooler is an unusual large tall size, has a fancy beaded design handle to each side, a beaded design to the top and inner edges and sits on a plain raised foot.

A handsome wine cooler that not only looks wonderful on display but is a nice heavy weight and is in very good condition so makes a great usable piece of vintage barware.

Marked to base: Mappin & Webb. London & Sheffield.

Dimensions: 28 cm (11") Diameter including side handles. 24.5 cm (9 1/2") Diameter not including side handles. 24 cm (9 1/2") Height.

Weight: 1526 g.

Condition: Excellent used vintage condition with only light signs of use in keeping with age. Silver plate in very good condition with only a few very light surface scratches and small tarnish marks. The inside is nice and clean.
