An impressive 19th century Italian carved walnut hall bench. Each end raise on winged lions paw feet and also with shells, scrolls, flowers, fruit and griffins and united by a fluted stretcher with central carved patera. The top is two piece plank and has a molded edge. In very good and original condition with a waxed patina. 520mm high, 1440mm wide and 550mm deep. Italian. Circa 1870.
