Boulle Desk Stand Circa 1875 Inkwell.

Description

A superb boulle desk stand fitted with a hinged lid flanked by two lidded compartments and recessed pen holders. This highly decorative piece would complement and add interest to any desk or writing table. The decoration is on all four sides so it could act as a centrepiece on a partners desk if so desired. These decorative pieces were very expensive in their day and and were only made for the best of homes.
