An Edwardian large silver oval photo frame with hallmarks for Birmingham 1909 and makers mark E.C. Ideal for a special occasion photo, the frame has a pleasing oval shape with a plain surround with wavy edge detail. The back is lined with navy blue leather, with a strong easel support and the interior is lined in green damask. The condition is good for its age - there are one or two wrinkles in the silver on the inner edge bottom left and mid left - as the close up photo shows. Still, these minor wrinkles do not detract from this quality sizeable piece.
