Description

A good quality 19th century papier mache TEA CADDY with mother of pearl inlay and gilded decoration. Made by the famous Tea Caddy maker: Jennens & Bettridge.

The serpentine fronted lid opens to reveal the twin-lidded compartments inside, retaining the original lead lining and gilt hanldes. It is raised on four ball feet, and is stamped to the underside by the makers: "Jennens & Bettridge".

Dimensions:  h: 5 ins   w: 7.5 ins   d: 5 ins (12.7 x 19 x 12.7 cm)
