Pair of French Napoleon III Scroll Back Armchairs

19th century
Description

A good pair of French Napoleon III armchairs, with waisted scroll backs over sprung seats and scroll arms, raised on ring turned supports with original castors.

The chairs are currently upholstered in blue velvet, the fabric is a little grubby in places but very useable with no damage, it would probably clean up very well. The seats are good with no lumps. I can arrange re-covering with my upholsterer if required and supply fabric - please contact me for details.

The backs 87cm high, the seats 74cm wide at the front, 51cm deep and 38cm high.
