The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Tissot name and the serial number 1412350 dates it back to 1943.
The main body of the case is chrome plated while the screw on case back is stainless steel. There is a little marking and some rubbing to the sides of the watch but overall very acceptable for such an early piece. The case back states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The winding crown is probably a later replacement.
The later lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is in its original finish with feuille shaped hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
