Description

Very useful late 19th.c. mahogany four door office bookcase c.1890. Single piece top with raised sides over twin two door glazed cupboards, each fitted with two adjustable shelves inside (internal depth 9½"). Typical of office furniture of the period it is very solidly constructed in solid mahogany and of uncluttered design, the decoration confined to a simple chamfered detail to the edges, doors and shelves. Panelled sides, also with chamfered surrounds. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
