Wonderful Antique English Desert Serving Set C. 1820

Description

A really beautiful and early silver plated desert serving set dating to the George III period, around 1820.

All the handles are quite outstanding and highly decorative with the knife blade and fork having floral and foliate engraved decoration.

All three pieces bear the same makers mark AH - symbol - JH for Aaron Hatfield & Sons of Sheffield.

The three pieces sit in their original presentation box lined in cream silk and navy blue velvet. Excellent condition with minor wear. The box measures 12" x 5 1/2", the knife measures 11 1/2" long the cake fork measures 8 1/4" long and the grape shears, 7 1/4" long.
