Lovely large ebony hard wood and hallmarked silver walking stick or cane.
The silver was assayed in London as shown in the pictures, date letter for 1925
and makers mark for Alexander Clark.
Lovely engraved decoration to the silver top which has octagonal panels around the sides which enhance the decoration..
It measures 92 cm 36 1/4 inches in length, the pommel is 4 cm 1 9/16 inches wide and 6.3 cm 2 1/2.
The ferrule is original and made of brass and steel.
It's in excellent condition but with some signs of age and use as you'd expect at this age. Some bumps to the silver as shown but non of these have caused holes and could be polished which would hide them far more. Left so that you can see them in the pictures.
