The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 620, which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner cover which has the initials of the original owner, DJ, and the year 1918.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model by the Birmingham based watch case maker Aaron Dennison. Dennisons supplied most of the cases for Waltham UK. The case has a little unevenness to the hinged case back but otherwise is in good condition.

The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has a short faint hairline by number 11 but you have to look quite closely to see it. Breguet style hands in a blued steel finish, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
